Neuropsychology of the Chinese Psychological Society

The Specialist Committee on Neuropsychology was approved for preparation on February 15, 2022, by the Executive Council and subsequently approved for establishment on March 31, 2023. The committee comprises 47 members from 26 universities, hospitals, and research institutes across China, constituting a core force in neuropsychology engaged in both basic scientific research and clinical translational research.

The primary aim of the Neuropsychology Committee is to gather, unite, and extensively organize professional practitioners in the field of neuropsychology in China. The committee actively conducts academic exchanges in neuropsychology and related fields, fostering cross-disciplinary fertilization, integration, and innovation. Additionally, it endeavors to promote the translation of neuroscience into clinical applications, and make significant contributions to leading and advancing the healthy development of neuropsychology in China.

The main work of the Neuropsychology Professional Committee includes:
1. holding regular national academic conferences in the specialized field of neuropsychology every year, and hosting various symposiums, academic lectures and forum activities periodically each year;
2. organizing the development of clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines for neurological diseases and other related industry guidelines, actively leading neuropsychology academic advancement, and promoting the orderly and healthy development of neuropsychological translation and application;
3. popularizing scientific and technological knowledge in the field of neuropsychology, organizing outreach events and disseminating scientific spirit, ideas and methods, and contributing to the implementation of the strategy of Healthy China.
