Personality Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Society
The Specialist Committee on Personality Psychology, established in 2007, is initiated collaboratively by distinguished psychologists Huang Xiting and Wang Dengfeng. Comprising 47 members from 34 universities in China, this committee involves a diverse group of experts, stretching from senior professionals to young academics central to research and teaching of personality psychology.
The committee aims to unite professionals in the field of personality psychology, facilitate academic exchange activities and stimulate open discussions. It promotes the prosperity and development of personality psychology research in China, fostering the growth and improvement of professionals. It enhances the contribution of personality psychology to national development and societal progress.
Key responsibility of the committee include:
1. Organizing working meetings and academic conferences on personality psychology to drive the discipline's prosperity.
2. Conducting research on the pedagogy of Personality Psychology, hosting teaching seminars and pedagogy workshops to support educational reforms.
3. Arranging the New Year's Forum on Personality and Social Psychology for dialogues between experts, scholars, and practitioners to contribute to economic and social development.
4. Organizing the publication of cutting-edge works in personality psychology to provide a platform for practitioners to showcase their research results.
