Psycholinguistics of Chinese Psychological Society
The Specialist Committee on Psycholinguistics of the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS) was established in 2017. At present, the committee comprises 44 members, including experts from 25 research institutes and organizations across 16 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. This committee serves as a gathering point for distinguished scholars and experts in the field of psycholinguistics and facilitates collaborative research across related disciplines.
The primary objective of the committee is to concentrate on significant developmental directions within the realm of psycholinguistics. It aims to delve into key scientific issues in cognitive psychology of language, actively engage in academic activities related to psycholinguistics, foster cross-disciplinary research, and contribute to the advancement of psycholinguistics and international exchanges in China.
Since its inception, the committee has organized an annual academic conference focusing on psycholinguistics. Through a series of initiatives, the committee has played a pivotal role in advancing the discipline's development in China. This includes contributions to discipline construction, fostering academic exchanges and collaboration, as well as nurturing talent in the field of psycholinguistics.
