School Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Society
Established in 1993, the Specialist Committee on School Psychology comprises 38 members from 29 universities and research institutions across China. This committee gathers leading experts and scholars in the field of school psychology research, focusing on advancing the research and practice of school mental health education.
The primary mission of School Psychology Committee is to unite psychologists engaged in school mental health education research and practice. It organizes a variety of academic activities, aiming to bolster scholarly research and the exchange of practical applications within school psychology in China. The committee is committed to integrating psychological practices in educational setting, promoting the dissemination of research findings and achievements in school mental health education, and fostering a synergy between academic research and societal needs. Its ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of psychological services in schools and improve the mental health of students.
The School Psychology Committee organizes a national academic conference and a committee meeting every two years. Additionally, various special seminars and training sessions are held periodically throughout the year.
