Engineering Psychology of the Chinese Psychological Society

Established in June 2013, the Specialist Committee on Engineering Psychology comprises 42 members from 18 universities, research institutes, and multinational R&D organizations. The committee unifies the core strength of engineering psychology research. Backgrounds of committee members hail from diverse backgrounds such as psychology, human factors, computer science, and automation, including researchers from universities and research institutes, as well as professionals from enterprises and institutions engaged in the research and application of engineering psychology.

The primary tasks of the Engineering Psychology Committee are conducting research in engineering psychology, encompassing areas like human factors design, human-computer interaction, system safety, and personnel selection. The committee aims to strengthen professional connections, foster academic exchanges among engineering psychology practitioners, and contribute to the development of the discipline. This involves efforts to enhance talent training, as well as the dissemination and application of research findings.

The committee periodically organizes the National Engineering Psychology Academic Conference, annual meetings, seminars, refresher courses, and exchanges. These activities are vital in advancing the development and application of engineering psychology and its related disciplines.
