Eye Movement Psychology Research of the Chinese Psychological Society

The Specialist Committee on Eye Movement Psychology Research was founded in January 2018, and currently has 50 members from 33 universities and research institutes across 21 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country. The committee serves as a hub for the nation's key experts in eye movement research, notably featuring a group of young backbone teachers actively engaged in the forefront of eye movement research.

The committee aims to establish the industry standard for eye movement research, to establish a foundation for scientific research collaboration, academic exchanges and talent cultivation, as well as to improve the academic level and to promote the further development of eye movement research in China. The primary objectives are to enhance the basic research of eye movement, the cultivation of talent, and the dissemination and application of research findings by conducting academic activities in eye movement research and its related fields.

The committee organizes a national senior seminar on the application of eye-tracking technique once a year and organizes the China International Conference on Eye Movements (CICEM) every two years. The committee plans to hold an academic conference every year to provide an exchange platform for scholars of eye movement research, and to promote the vigorous development of eye movement and the popularization of research findings in China.
