On the afternoon of November 2, the 26th National Academic Conference of Psychology completed all scheduled agendas and held its closing ceremony, presided over by the conference Secretary-General, Chen Xuefeng.

Su Yanjie delivered the conference summary report. She reviewed highlights from the preparation to the execution of the conference, noting two distinctive features of the presentations: first, a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary integration, demonstrating a constructed academic ecosystem of diverse dialogue and showcasing the broad space for synergistic development between psychology and multiple disciplines; second, close alignment with contemporary dynamics, focusing on cutting-edge scientific and practical issues arising from the digital-intelligent society. Many presentations examined current hot topics from the perspective of psychology and other disciplines, analyzing the impact of the digital-intelligent era on individual psychological behavior. As a crucial pivot in interdisciplinary studies, psychology in the digital age must further break down disciplinary barriers. Through deep integration with fields like brain science, computer science, and sociology, it can respond to the diverse societal needs for mental health services and inject new momentum into the national social psychological service system.

Subsequently, CPS President-Elect Zhang Wenxin announced the list of papers selected for the "Future Stars" Compilation of Outstanding Doctoral and Master's Theses, which included 42 doctoral theses and 24 master's theses. Su Yanjie, Luo Yuejia, Zhang Wenxin, and Zhou Shanshan presented honorary certificates to representatives of volunteers and support staff.

Finally, on behalf of the Society, CPS President Luo Yuejia expressed sincere gratitude to leaders at all levels, domestic and international experts and scholars, and friends from various sectors for their kind concern and strong support for the conference. Special thanks were extended to the host institution, Shandong Normal University, for its meticulous arrangements, and to all the teachers and student volunteers who worked diligently in the conference preparation. He shared three expectations for the future development of psychology in China: First, strengthening foundations and enhancing quality to solidify the hard support for disciplinary development. Efforts should focus persistently on talent cultivation, scientific research, and social service, ensuring psychological achievements truly benefit the public and enhancing the discipline's social recognition and national strategic influence. Second, benchmarking and empowering, anchoring on the main battlefield of national strategy. The development of psychology should be deeply integrated into the overall cause of the Party and the state, consistently adhering to the strategic orientation of "facing the world's technological frontiers, the main economic and social battlefields, major national needs, and people's life and health," contributing psychological wisdom to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Third, upholding fundamentals while innovating, forging a new paradigm for indigenous development. With a global perspective and grounding in China, efforts should continuously strengthen the construction of an independent knowledge system, transforming localized research outcomes into practical solutions, infusing Chinese vitality into global psychology development, and persistently dedicating the value of psychological science to national development, social progress, and people's happiness.

The National Academic Conference of Psychology is the highest-level and largest academic exchange platform in the field of psychology in China. Held against the backdrop of China's accelerated "Double First-Class" initiative and the advancement of the academic innovation system, this conference was a significant event. It facilitated the exchange of research findings and the sharing of intervention practice models across multiple domains, including human-AI collaboration, genetic and environmental mechanisms of psychology and behavior, translation of psychology and brain science, psychosocial rehabilitation for major diseases, computational modeling of decision processes, development and mental health promotion of children in adversity, smart care and mental health, ecological civilization construction and environmental psychology, and social equity and public mentality. By using interdisciplinary integration as a link to build a cross-field collaboration platform, the conference holds great significance for promoting the construction of a Healthy China, a strong nation in education, and the high-quality development of psychological science.
