On August 12, 2023, the National Joint Conference on the High-Quality Development of Psychology Academic Journals and the 10th Anniversary of the Journal of Soochow University (Educational Science Edition) took place in Suzhou. The event was hosted by the Working Committee for Publication of the Chinese Psychological Society and organized by the College of Education at Soochow University and the Soochow University Journal Center.

On April 25-29, 2024, invited by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), Germán Gutiérrez, President of the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS), participated in the annual meeting of the 2024 ZGC Forum.

On the afternoon of November 10, 2023, Dr. Mark van Ommeren, Head of the Mental Health Division at the World Health Organization (WHO), and Dr. Craig Hodges, Director of the National Center of Excellence in Youth Mental Health (ORYGENGLOBAL) in Australia, along with their delegation, paid a visit to the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS).The visit focused on sharing working experiences, typical cases, and research findings in the field of mental health and mental health services.

The 25th National Academic Conference of Psychology, organized by the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS) and hosted by Sichuan Normal University (SNU), took place from October 13 to 15, 2023, at the Lion's Hill Campus of Sichuan Normal University. The conference focused on the theme "Innovation and Development of Mental Health Services in the Digital Era," aiming to explore the universal laws of human psychology and behavior in the digital era and contribute to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

To enhance exchanges, mutual learning and academic integration among the psychological societies of China, Japan, and South Korea, establish a trilateral cooperative research mechanism, and elevate the influence of Asian psychological research globally, the three countries' psychological societies agreed in 2011 to organize a Tri-National Psychology Forum.

The forces propelling the advancement of science lie in thinking, exchanging ideas, summarizing insights, and continually seeking development. The 24th National Academic Conference of Psychology, held on November 25-27, 2022, was successfully organized by the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), hosted by Henan Normal University, and co-sponsored by the Henan Provincial Psychological Association and the School of Psychology of Henan University.

On October 30-31, 2021, the 23rd National Academic Conference of Psychology was held virtually, marking a momentous occasion as it warmly celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS).

Prior to the 2020 National Science and Technology Working Day, the International Webinar on Psychology in coping with COVID-19 Pandemic was organized by the Academic Department of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), and Tencent. The forum was held from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm Beijing time on May 30th to share the achievements and experiences of China's psychology community in the fight against the pandemic.

The 22nd National Academic Conference on Psychology took place grandly at Hangzhou Normal University from October 18 to 20, 2019, in warm celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

On November 2-4, 2018, the 21st National Academic Conference of Psychology took place at the Beijing International Convention Center.

On October 15-16, 2016, the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS) hosted its 19th Annual Conference in Xi'an, concurrently held the International Forum and Academic Symposium on "Psychology and the Belt and Road Initiative."

Recently, the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS) recognized Professor Zhang Houchuan of Beijing Normal University with the “Achievement Against the Odds Award” and Professor Fang Fang of Peking University with the “Young Investigator Award (Basic Science).” These prestigious accolades will be presented at the 31st International Congress of Psychology (ICP2016) scheduled to take place in Yokohama, Japan, on July 25th.
