Prior to the 2020 National Science and Technology Working Day, the International Webinar on Psychology in coping with COVID-19 Pandemic was organized by the Academic Department of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Chinese Psychological Society (CPS), and Tencent. The forum was held from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm Beijing time on May 30th to share the achievements and experiences of China's psychology community in the fight against the pandemic.

On October 15-16, 2016, the Chinese Psychological Society (CPS) hosted its 19th Annual Conference in Xi'an, concurrently held the International Forum and Academic Symposium on "Psychology and the Belt and Road Initiative."

Recently, the International Union of Psychological Science (IUPsyS) recognized Professor Zhang Houchuan of Beijing Normal University with the “Achievement Against the Odds Award” and Professor Fang Fang of Peking University with the “Young Investigator Award (Basic Science).” These prestigious accolades will be presented at the 31st International Congress of Psychology (ICP2016) scheduled to take place in Yokohama, Japan, on July 25th.
